Introduce yourself and your MOOC experience

Hi everyone,

I'm a PhD Candidate from the University of Ottawa. I'm co-located in Ottawa Canada and San Jose California.

My interest in MOOCs began in 2011 when I attended my first connectivisit MOOC, MobiLearn - a 6-week MOOC on mobile learning. From that experience I joined a team of researchers who have now published several papers based upon our experiences in MobiMOOC.

I have since participated in several other connectivist style MOOCs. I've been watching the space regarding the big xMOOCs with some interest, but have not yet had the time to truly participate in one.

I found that my experiences in connectivist MOOCs helped me find a place within the mobile learning community early in my academic career.

I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences regarding MOOCs.
