Biography
Shu-Ju Diana Tai holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics & Technology (minor in Curriculum and Instructional Technology ) from Iowa State University as well as an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher for Center for Technology in Learning and Teaching (CTLT) on research related to TPACK and CALL Teacher Education. She has taught a variety of ESL classes, ePortfolio for English teacher professional development, as well as teacher preparation courses, including CI556/456 Integrating Technology into the Reading and Language Arts Curriculum, CI201-Digital Learning in PK-6 Classroom, CI 280B Field Experience in Digital Learning, and CI454 Emerging Technologies in Digital Learning. She has also taught EFL classes at National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan for 6 years. Her research interests include CALL, teacher education in CALL, TPACK, integration of emerging technology, including multimedia, web 2.0, and open source applications in language classroom, and computer assisted language testing.
