Biography

Masanori Yamada is Associate Professor in Faculty of arts and science, School of Education, and Graduate School of Human-Environment Studies at Kyushu University. He is engaged in research and development of computer-mediated communication systems for project-based learning. He worked for NTT Comware Corporation where he was engaged in the research on the technology related to moving images from 2000 to 2003. He received M.A. and Ph.D in Human System Science from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2005 and 2008 respectively. He was Japan Society for the Promotion of Science(JSPS) research fellow for young scientists in 2007.He is also a recipient of the outstanding young researcher award from Information Processing Society of Japan (2003), and Japan Society for Educational Technology, and best article award from the The Computer-Assisted Language Instruction Consortium (CALICO USA).
