Biography
Erik Kormos is an Assistant Professor of Educational and Assistive Technology Technologies at Ashland University. He AU in 2019 and teaches undergraduate and graduate educational technology, social studies methods, and communication courses. Prior to AU, he taught middle grades and young adult social studies in Ohio and Barranquilla, Colombia for seven years. His research interests include educator usage and perceptions of technology, school setting and the digital divide, assessment in online learning, and international education. Published manuscripts appeared in Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education (CITE), International Journal of Web-Based Learning Technologies, Computers in the Schools, and Education and Urban Society.
