Biography

David C.L. Stock, MS, MBA is Manager of Leadership & Learning at Cayman Islands Civil Service College and one of the original team members for the implementation of the Civil Service College in the Cayman Islands in Fall 2007.

As Manager of Leadership & Learning, Mr. Stock is responsible for the implementation of the Cayman Islands Civil Service Academy (e-learning portal), the implementation of accredited learning programs and is the only facilitator for the ILM Endorsed Leadership & Management program. In addition, He is the change agent for the training & development policy for the Cayman Islands and Civil Service.

He has spoke on the Cayman Islands Civil Service College at several conferences including the Caribbean Leadership, Governance and Empowerment Conference and the Enterprise Learning! Conference & Expo (ELCE) in Anaheim, California.

In addition, due to his work, the Cayman Islands Civil Service Academy (e-learning portal) was nominated by the editors of Elearning! Media Group for the Learning! 100 Award — an awards program honoring top learning organizations in the world.

He was previously Registrar at University College of the Cayman Islands, Data Research Analyst Manager at Kingland Systems, Academic Advisor at Iowa State University, Project Lead at Growth Ventures Group, Product Manager at PayPal and Business Accounts Manager & Trainer at PayPal.

Mr. Stock earned his BA in Psychology at Buena Vista University, Iowa in 1997, BS in Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2000 and his MBA in Business Administration at Iowa State University in 2004. He is currently completing his Ph.D. requirements in Educational Leadership & e-Learning, Higher Education at Trident University.
