David Fuentes is an Associate Professor of Elementary & Early Childhood Education in the Department of Teacher Education: PreK-12 at William Paterson University of New Jersey. He teaches courses aimed at preparing pre-service and in-service teachers to teach in urban school classrooms. His courses focus on Differentiated Instruction, Multicultural Education, Teaching with Technology, and the Teaching Profession in Diverse school settings. His current research focuses on using sociocultural perspectives to explore issues of equity across various school settings.
