In 2016, he obtained his habilitation in computer science by presenting a series of papers on "Multilevel analysis of security systems using the language QoP-ML". He is the creator of a new language for modeling QoP-ML security systems, cryptographic protocols and cyberspace protection mechanisms. He is the author or co-author of over 50 scientific papers on cybersecurity published in international journals and presented at many international conferences. He is the author of several books in the field of cybersecurity, including one published by the renowned CRC Press in New York. He is a member of program committees at many international scientific conferences and editor of many volumes of special scientific journals. He took part in several international research projects and research and development projects. He is a permanent reviewer in many scientific journals from the JCR list, he has made over 30 reviews of scientific papers for these magazines. He is the creator of a startup regarding education and the originator of many innovative technological solutions. He performed forensic examinations and analyzes of IT systems security.
The main interests concern applied cryptography, computer science education, cryptographic protocols,DDoS attacks, wireless sensor networks, machine learning.
