eSubmission – Institutional Policies and Academic Attitudes
eSubmission is being implemented in universities within the UK. It is not a new initiative but has developed on an ad hoc, experimental basis within individual institutions across the sector. There is a sense of being on the verge of a step-change from experimental to mainstream adoption of eSubmission driven largely by expectations of efficiency gains and an improved student experience. This research provides a snapshot of current policy and practice in UK Higher Education (HE) and identifies the key issues relating to assessment regulations and academic attitudes.
