Framework for Designing Multimedia Remedial Programs for Children With Specific Learning...
This paper describes a proposed framework for designing multimedia programs aimed at children with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs). The framework guides the mapping of requirements from low fidelity prototypes to system functionality in interactive multimedia programs. We describe the application of this framework in the context of transforming several low-fidelity prototypes designed by specialists in learning difficulties with limited technical background, to interactive remedial programs. Insights gained from applying the framework are discussed.
