  • Understanding the difference between designers’ and students’ perception and mental models are important to enhance the quality of any design and increase students’ satisfaction and engagement. Although the designers think the designs are good enough for their cohort, there are number of issues will be faced by students. These issues can be addressed early in the development process by performing usability/desirability testing/ Interview to enable the designer to reach their instructional objectives.

    Do you have any experience in usability testing that help you to understand the difference between your and students' perception?
