Abstract: This synchronous Virtual Best Practices session is a discussion and demonstration of creativity-based learning strategies and solutions that will be shared in an upcoming 2023 book co-authored by the presenters. The discussion brings together experts on the topic of “The Effective Use of Constraints During Creativity” including educational technology researchers from universities located in Texas, South Carolina, and Massachusetts. With the goal of generating creative classrooms as an anchoring theme for our discussion, audience members will be invited to ask about best-practices for producing creative classrooms that employ innovative educational technologies.
