Abstract: Elementary teachers and students can use or develop E Books and Artifact Trunks to inspire children and renew passion for learning social studies. Presenters will share E Books and artifact trunks developed in partnership with the Antique Ice Tool Museum of West Chester, PA for use by elementary teachers. Elementary teachers can develop similar E books and artifact trunks that correspond with their curriculum and connect children to local historical or cultural organizations. Attendees will examine both resources and consider ways to develop similar materials for their classrooms.
