Abstract: Virtual simulations provide a way for teacher candidates to implement high leverage practices, such as collaboration, in a low-stakes, authentic setting. This paper will explore Phase II of a study investigating the impact of implementation of virtual simulations during teacher candidates’ preparation programs. In Phase II of this study, teacher candidates reflected on the impact of virtual simulations on their full practicum experiences and on their feelings of preparedness to enter the field as a teacher of record.
