Abstract: This brief paper will share the design of a platform, ChangeMaker K12, created to support teacher candidates (TC) in teaching engineering design and employing systems thinking and other change processes to improve their own practice. The ChangeMaker K12 pathway was created through support by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to engage TCs and children in: design awareness, design for function, design with empathy, and design for change. Platform materials and initial research results will be shared at the conference.
