Abstract: The research aims to investigate whether a progressive disclosure strategy affects the learning of new material with a multimedia technology. The intervention involves the revealing of visual slide content in sequential chunks as a speaker explains it. In the study, a treatment group will view content that is progressively disclosed on slides, and a control group will view the same content in a fully-disclosed manner. The same recorded narration will accompany both the treatment and control slides.
