Share Paper: Using 360° Videos and Images to Create Immersive Learning Experiences

Abstract: 360° videos and images are a form of virtual reality that have been largely untapped by educators, though this type of immersive content is often more accessible than computer-generated virtual reality. For example, teachers can record their own 360° videos and images, or if they cannot record the content themselves, there are online resources where they can access it for free. In addition, 360° videos and images can be viewed across devices, including VR headsets, tablets, laptops, and smartphones, which also reduces barriers for using it in the classroom.
