Abstract: Digital storytelling, particularly in partnership with others, represents a learning opportunity that cultivates future-focused skills such as communication, creativity, critical thinking, character development, citizenship, and collaboration. This qualitative research study explores the effectiveness of collaborative digital storytelling within a graduate education course for preparing in-service teachers to design applicable, meaningful learning experiences requiring collaborative content creation. Qualitative data encompasses themes derived from the analysis of this topic through interactive discussion forums, students’ written reflections regarding the process of collaborative digital storytelling, and course evaluations.
