Abstract: In elementary education, students need to learn a wide range of disciplines to help them prepare for their future lives. Technologies are widely applied to the designs of K-5 learning because they offer multiple strengths. However, the importance of motivation is often ignored while developing digital learning for students. Therefore, this study aims to propose a framework for applying the factor of motivation to the design of digital learning. We hope it may provide some insights for K-5 educators when they design instructions to motivate students.
