Abstract: Computational thinking and a mindset to solve problems logically have become pre-requisite for many computer-based jobs in the 21st century. Therefore, K-12 schools and stakeholders are seeking to incorporate curricula in computer science and other information technology disciplines to better prepare students for the jobs of tomorrow. Consequently, teacher preparation programs have begun to prioritize learning technology curricula that include modeling computational thinking skills and introducing learning activities that incorporate them, such as Code.org and Scratch.
