Abstract: The digital age has facilitated intercultural understanding while bridging cross-cultural gaps. However, digital technologies can be a double-edged sword. They may pose a challenge for education systems, such as digital inequality, ethical issues and user well-being. On the other hand, they also provide new learning opportunities such as greater access to knowledge, learner-centered pedagogy, interactions, and collaborations. Online projects that provide an opportunity for collaborative learning in a multicultural environment, even between cultures in conflict, are increasing.
