Abstract: Research suggests that students who are assessed on a topic using a digital application and are later assessed on a unique topic at a later date show overall and baseline improvement, which indicates that students are not properly prepared for literacy in the online application being used. Digital Application Literacy Theory recommends a four-step process for the thorough and effective introduction of online assessment applications. This workshop will introduce the components of Digital Application Literacy, as well as first-hand best practices in K12 classrooms.
