Share Paper: Modelling student’s learner success through school leaders’ managerial decisions at vocational schools in Germany

Abstract: For the project Check-up Distance Learning, data from N = 3,872 stakeholders at German vocational schools has been collected. An analysis through hierarchical linear modelling shows a medium-sized effect of a school’s organizational characteristics (flow of information, accessibility of information, rules for digital tools) on students’ learner success (perceived motivation, perceived ease of learning), underlining the importance of effective managerial acting from the school leaders in the process of digital school development.
