Abstract: With schools alternating between in person and online, topics can be difficult to teach and engagement maintained with students. One solution that can apply to so many subject areas is Personal Finance which can be studied in Math, Economics, Accounting, Business and even Science! Personal Finance Lab brings Personal Finance to Life through a money management game, stock market simulation (real time trading) with research capabilities of the different companies, recruitment, balance sheets and more. Couple this with integrated learning resources and now you have pacing, reporting and access 24/7 whether online or in the classroom.

Objectives

By the end of the session: Attendees will have ideas on how to gamify personal finance to take back to their classroom.
