Abstract: In this paper we present and discuss findings from a study of students’ experiences of active learning. To promote active learning, a work method, the Digital Reading Workshop, was designed and used in a Master’s degree program at a Norwegian University (NTNU). A joint task is the starting point for this method. In our case, the students were given this assignment: How can a workplace develop a culture for knowledge sharing and collaboration?
