Share Paper: Using Augmented Reality for Students with Reading Comprehension Disabilities: An Experimental Pretest Posttest Design
Abstract: The presentation describes a study designed to investigate the effectiveness of Augmented reality reading materials on 7th & 8th-grade students with reading comprehension disabilities. Flow Theory will be used to examine students' flow state in relation to the use of AR-based reading materials. An experimental pretest-posttest control group design, consisting of a control group and an experimental group, will be used for the study. Data will be collected and analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods including flow state scale, maze test, semi-structured interviews, and class observation. Implications about the effectiveness of AR-based materials as a learning tool will be discussed.
