Abstract: In an attempt to increase the number of high school students who engage in computer science and pursue it in college and beyond, K12 schools around the country continue to add new Computer Science (CS) courses to their programs. This research report includes a compilation of evaluation data collected as part of a multi-institution, statewide project. We studied pre and post survey responses from over 125 high school students who took one of two different CS classes.
