Abstract: Children are exposed at an early age to a variety of different types and uses of apps and technology. Zoom, Skype, Facetime, messenger chat, email, text, voice calls, and information gathering from sites such as Google and You Tube are common terms in schools and households. Apps for gaming, for story making, drawing, writing, music and audio recordings, photos and videos abound. This paper takes a different approach to technology by focusing on the use of books to teach children about technology, the old-fashioned way.
