Abstract: The goal of this panel presentation is to support a broad-based conversation among researchers about the accessibility, dissemination practices, and usability of their research. In particular, the panel intends to discuss the gap in access to TPACK research, which might be propagated by dissemination practices that balance institutional priorities with those of providing access to practitioners and other researchers who lack access to traditional academic mediums. Four subtopics will be presented that closely connect to the main topic: (a) perceived accessibility and dissemination of TPACK research; (b) impact of the tenure and promotion guidelines on the dissemination of TPACK research; (c) utilizing social media to disseminate research; and (d) essential tensions in dissemination practices.
