Abstract: COVID-19 has resulted in a sudden paradigm shift in the ways we have been teaching our students across the country and around the globe. Several schools around the world had to close impacting the education of several students in K-12 classrooms. Teachers serving in K-12 classrooms and higher education were asked to continue with their instructions remotely. In the fall of 2020, most schools decided to reopen and serve their students virtually and face2face. Teachers had to rush to provide remote instruction without any major planning and professional development. Stakeholders, parents, and students have done best to their ability to maintain the continuum of education. This unprecedented time has shed light on the need to revisit students learning goals to provide quality instruction. During this beginning, adjusting to this "new normal" way of remote learning has caused major stress in students, especially students with disabilities who need more support and a structured routine. Online educational technology platforms have successfully allowed students to learn academics and grow in their social-emotional learning skills. Technology, such as Flipgrid, Kahoot, Nearpod, Skype, Zoom, Seesaw, Unique lessons, and Google Classrooms, has helped educators around the world stay connected with their students. This round-table discussion will explore technology integration to teach SEL competencies during COVID-19 to students with disabilities in K-12 classrooms.
