Abstract: Epic is a multimedia book application that provides children with the opportunity to interact with the book through animated images, read aloud features, and highlighted text as it is read. This research study is investigating two areas in relation to Epic. First, how are educators using the application in the classroom? This question is being answered through the use of an anonymous survey with the option for a phone/video interview. Secondly, how do children interact with the application?
