Abstract: Virtual reality is transforming the way students are learning by bringing objects to life. With Merge Cube, students not only see an object, but can hold it, manipulate it, and even code new objects to view on the cube. Come learn what Merge Cube is, how it can innovate that way you teach, and engage students while integrating STEM into your curriculum. Participants will learn how a middle school health teacher has used Merge Cube to teach about disease prevention and control along with mental and emotional health topics. She has used them to place virtual beating hearts as well as human skulls in the hands of her students so that they could manipulate them while also learning more effectively how these parts of the body function. Beyond the VR and AR abilities of the Merge Cube, students can code new objects and then watch them come alive on the cube. Come learn about the magic of Merge Cubes!
