Abstract: This paper describes how faculty at four universities used a Course Analysis Rubric, based on the Teacher Educator Technology Competencies (TETCs), to retrospectively analyze the activities and assignments they had included in seven different teacher education undergraduate courses. The four professors will describe how the tool helped them to identify “blind spots” within their courses and reflect on how they will use the insights gained to revise syllabi, assignments, and activities to include learning experiences that enhance preservice teachers’ technology competencies. Reflections provide a road map for program evaluation and professional development initiatives for teacher educators.
