Abstract: The purpose of this investigation is to present a case study about the use of the “the quest” narrative as a model for game-based learning design for K12 educators. This inquiry centers on how the narrative form of “The Quest” serves to provide K12 educators with an accessible model for developing a narrative for game-based learning. Specifically, this inquiry focused on strategies teachers used for developing game-based learning environments for problem-based and project-based learning.
