Abstract: This paper and presentation will mainly outline and describe the research results of (Digital Story Telling Contests) DISTCO 2019 and will attempt to make a comparison of past ten years of DISTCO data. Main areas to be investigated include how digital storytelling affects student learning; 21st century skills; creative self –efficacy; and self-efficacy towards computers and digital storytelling. In terms of the research implications for students, this paper will also analyze students’ perspectives on using digital stories in the classroom, the motivational factors for using digital stories, and students’ preferred content areas for digital story use.
