Evaluation Critique of Socrative Program as a Learning Tool

Abstract: This paper is describing Socrative game as a learning tool. It mentioned what type of learning might occur by using Socrative. It clarifies the context that is possible to apply Socrative. Socrative program can be used in schools or universities environment and training workshops. It can be applied with any type of learners who need to practice, understand, remember, and analyze the course content. Theory of change is an appropriate theory to evaluate Socrative program because this theory helps to specify the goals of a program or a course and the possible outcomes in order to identify whether the intervention is acceptable or not. Socrative can be measured up according to the Theory of Change by answering the following questions, such as identifying long-term outcomes that Socrative game wants to achieve. The most important aspect that the theory miss is observable measurements for the accomplishment of the desired outcomes.
