Analysis of Teacher Training Students' Understanding on Learning Objectives in Elementary School Programming Classes Using IoT Materials

Abstract: In this study, teacher training students used Internet of Things (IoT) sensor teaching materials and other programs to verify whether students would be able to understand the learning objectives and content of elementary school programming education. From the attitude survey conducted after the utilization of the IoT teaching materials, the teacher training students commented that the IoT teaching materials did not require sophisticated operations knowledge or programming languages and that they were able to easily understand the programming education learning objectives. The teacher training students said that they were aware of the relationships among the programming experiences, actual life, and interactive learning and problem-solving.
