Abstract: In the US, Early Childhood Education (ECE) provides an essential support in helping families work and preparing young children to succeed in school. More and more children are spending their early years in formal childcare while their parents work and this demand there has been an increase in educational expectations for teachers. Traditional face-to-face programs can be difficult for ECE professionals balancing the demands of their daytime work and family commitments while online programs open new opportunities.
