Best Practices
ID: 54575
Abstract: Recent scientific advances have led to using educational technology as assistive technology. This merger of assistive technology and educational or instructional technology has allowed all individuals to use technology in an efficient, low-cost way to access and interact within the curriculum. This is especially true in the use of augmented reality (AR). This paper provides examples of how AR can be used as assistive technology strategy to provide support for individuals with disabilities in their educational endeavors.
