Abstract: The current study aims at focusing on the role and importance of tacit knowledge when transferred from international faculty in the host culture to students in the classroom. It highlights the different types of tacit knowledge and their functionality in higher education context. Tacit knowledge will be examined in this study in light of Nonaka and Takeuchi (1996) SECI model that elaborates on the transferability of tacit knowledge within organizations in general and higher education in particular.
