Perspectives on Improving Student Success in Online Courses at the Community College with Improvement Science

Abstract: This session will provide an overview of how improvement science can be used to increase student success in community college online courses. The session will describe tools that can be used in improvement science to conduct the plan, study, do, act cycle. Specific examples will include workforce education and transfer courses. The session will provide faculty tools to understand if changes they make in online courses result in improvements to student outcomes.
