Abstract: This project reports on the deployment and implementation of a tripod approach to systematic professional development across a university with a growing online and hybrid presence. Meeting the needs of full-time faculty with traditional teaching practice, online and hybrid students with changing expectations, and adjunct or distance faculty who cannot attend on-campus workshops presents challenges for everyone. Building on Bartlett (2018), this project describes the three-pronged approach to addressing the varied needs, and describes proposed methodologies for tracking the influence and effects of multiple types of professional development. Session attendees will have the opportunity to view real-time results and discuss implementation strategies.
