Abstract: Robotics is seen by some as a vehicle for learning and understanding new technologies as students acquire engineering design, electrical and mechanical engineering, and programming skills. Mentors on these out-of-school-time robotics teams play an integral part in providing varying levels of instruction and guidance to their students as their team designs and builds robots.
