Assessment of Technology Professional Development Needs of Nigerian Educators: Implication for Practice

Abstract: Several researchers have studied the impact of professional development on technology integration. However, there were not enough empirical studies that investigate educators’ technology professional needs across levels of education. To bridge this gap, researchers employed a survey design and conducted an educators’ technology professional developments needs in Nigerian tertiary institutions. The researchers used descriptive statistics and present findings related to Nigerian educators’ technology professional development needs. The paper discussed preliminary findings and implications of the study to administrators and educators.
