Pre-service Teachers’ Instructional Material Design: An Example of Technology Integrated Design Course
Abstract: Technology integration into teacher education programs is contributing how pre-service teachers learn to teach in the courses. Material design is one of the tasks that pre-service teachers are expected to have experience before their graduation. Within this study, it is aimed to develop pre-service teachers on material design within technology integrated classroom. 64 pre-service teachers (56 women, 9 men) at preschool education department in faculty of education in Turkey were participated into this study. The data were gathered using material design self-efficacy scale by Bakaç and Özen (2015). Their expertise on material design and technology usage as a teaching tool and self-efficacy on material design within the technology integrated course was recorded throughout the semester.
