Game-Based Learning for International English Language Learners
Abstract: This paper provides the proposed topic of building an educational video in the Construct 3 platform. There will be several videos games for International High School English Language Learners to practice reading vocabulary, listening vocabulary, and grammar. Gamification elements are in the fill in the blank portion of this online activity. After the completion of this game, research on the correlation of the positive effects of video game will show the benefits of using videos game for learning. Upon completion of the game, participants will complete a survey to display the benefits of game based learning. The goal of this project is to stimulate motivation of learning English and increase comprehension of vocabulary term.
