Abstract: The purpose of this best practices session is to describe how the development of virtual psychology research conference for undergraduate and graduate learners and alumni from an online university helps to facilitate the development of the soft skills that the American Psychological Association expects of graduates and employers require of employees. The faculty-driven model of synchronous research conference sessions will be provided so that attendees will have a framework to implement a similar conference, virtual or face-to-face, at their institution or organization, regardless of discipline and teaching modality.
