Promoting Workforce Education in University Programs with TPACK and Experiential Learning

Abstract: Programs which enable students to learn, apply and gain a skill needed in the workforce is important for both student and university success. Students gain higher paying jobs post-graduation and universities can promote better student employability metrics. The focus on this paper highlights the develop and promotion of a program for students to fulfill a gap in the business workforce for trained business architects and systems architects by integrating the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework with experiential and industry partnerships to create a learning environment which promotes readiness for the workforce.
