Abstract: Synchronous hybrid learning environments refer to contexts where remote participants join face-to-face classes in real time through the use of synchronous interaction technologies. Universities are increasingly implementing such learning environments to provide teachers and students with more flexible participation, as well as to bridge the divide between students who attend face-to-face classes and those who learn at a distance.
