Abstract: This presentation is intended to examine digital media and its use in the classroom Digital Media plays a significant role in how children see, interact, collaborate and investigate various forms of applications Applications such as SeeSaw, Osmo, CoJi and the G Suite allow students to explore, manipulate, upload, create and direct their own learning This presentation will showcase these various applications and how they provide an avenue for teachers and students to lead the way in integrating and implementing various forms of digital media within their classrooms Participants will have the opportunity to explore and view examples of the following: Seesaw as an ePortfolio assessment platform, which provides the ability to analyze and use student data; VR apps and their use in the classroom; hands-on play with Osmo, which includes a mirroring effect of an iPad and manipulates; provide coding commands to CoJi, the robot to learn the basics of programming and create an interactive story using Google Forms Preparing learners, students and teachers to live, lead and thrive in a digital society requires a consistent review and knowledge of various applications
