Abstract: For this roundtable, we invite participants to join our discussion of how to better prepare preservice Teacher Education students to integrate technology into their professional lives in authentic and useful ways This is an especially important discussion given that the landscape of technological tools available to teachers moves more rapidly in this digital age than anything to which we have become accustomed In this report of our ongoing work, we expand on our engagement with preservice Teacher Education majors learning to use Google Apps for Education (Authors, 2015) to reflect a focus on the affordances and constraints of integrating technology into effective teaching and learning practices Through an undergraduate course-based research elective called Creative Inquiry, students engage in a full year project focused on an area of interest, which in this instance is on Google Apps for Education (GAFE) In this roundtable, our students will share their experiences from this Creative Inquiry project focusing on their own interaction with GAFE as well as their observations and interviews with classroom teachers who integrate GAFE
